JEFCOED EMPLOYEES RECEIVE LOCAL PAY RAISES

Two years ago, JCAFT President Vi Parramore requested that the Jefferson County Board recommend across the board pay raises for employees.  As a result, the Superintendent formed a Salary Committee.  Mrs. Parramore and Staff Representative Sheila Jones have worked diligently on the Salary Committee to see that every group of employees receives a raise for their hard work.  JCAFT thanks Dr. Hammonds and the Jefferson County Board of Education for making the following changes in the current salary schedule

Through the Salary Committee the JCAFT continues to work hard for the employees that have not yet received pay raises. These groups include bus drivers and aides, child nutrition workers, substitutes, Ketona employees and other office personnel.

The JCAFT leaders continue to negotiate with Trussville and Leeds City School officials to upgrade their employees’ salaries
